Nothing serious, but it always happens when you're trying to get out of town. After the epic struggle with the fuel lines, pump and filter I dropped the Westy off at the place that passed it two years running and I am informed it needs front brake pads (actually have those in the van, rotors marginal but passing), the left front turn signal is dim(?), needs wiper blades, and the neat additional low-mount rearview mirror that's been passed by the very same guy for two years he now declares illegal for some reason. Also, I asked him about the passenger window being difficult to wind up and he says, "Probably needs a new regulator." On a non-power window?!?

There goes the weekend. And I get to do more work in a gravel driveway in mid-August. Ah, the Westy life!

Stephen
