Subject: Thank You Frank Condelli-Dometic Fridge

I've been thanking a lot of folks lately! Thank you Frank for your write up on Dometic fridge maintenance! My fridge worked on AC and 12volt, but I never could get it to light on propane. I followed your instructions and this afternoon was the big test. Hauled it out onto the patio and hooked up the propane tank from my BBQ grill. Tried to light it, and saw one brief orange flash through the sight glass, but it did not light-or so I thought! Tried and tried after that, still wouldn't light. Verified it was "passing gas" so to speak and it was. Gave up and went in to eat dinner. Just went out to put the fridge in the garage, and thought I'd give it one more go. It is now totally dark outside, and I sat down in front of the fridge and looked at the sight glass-WTF! A tiny, tiny little speck of blue!!! It's running on propane! Fins are getting cold! It was running all the time, I just couldn't see it. This is scary-my vent lines on the fuel tank are done, my gas heater now works (tha nks again Robert K.) my cooling system is filled with fresh coolant, and now my fridge works on propane! I better stop gloating, something bad will happen. Jeff
