If Utah is anything like WA.......

there should be a State forestry building. They should have maps showing forestry or other sites.

Maybe the same in Utah.

Here's a link showing maps that also show BLM and state land:

Cheers,

I've ridden my motorcycle up there a few times and I remember different camp grounds and some general dirt roads but it has been a few years and I was hoping fro some advice before I drive up there with the family. We're bringing some bicycles and are looking for a place to camp, primitive away from the rest of the throngs would be preferred. I don't know if the whole area is Uinta National Forest, and I couldn't find on that site the rules about non-campground camping. If anyone has any advice our a recommended spot where we can take our Westy that would be great. Basically we'd like to find a place up in the mountains where we can hang for a few days and ride bikes if possible. Big campgrounds are not preferred but we can do it if the crowds are small. > > Thanks, > -Phil > > 89 Westy with Bob Stevens previous wheels/tires :) >
