They're off the high-compression European version of the Fiat 124 Twin Cam motor and feed plenty of air to 1800 cc at 8000 RPM, so I wouldn't worry about a low-revving WBX running out of air.

On my stock 1592 smog motor they pulled to 7500 RPM and allowed me to keep up with a Lotus Elan running a Formula Ford motor. :)
