I used to collect 20s-30s tube radios. My favorite was a big wooden Atwater Kent that, when bought, had a couple cigars with the old tax labels from the late '20s wedged on one side. I imagine the owner wasn't supposed to smoke? It had the slightest sweet tobacco scent over that of the hot tubes. A local AM station would broadcast old radio shows on weekends and I heard many an episode of The Shadow and Paul Whiteman over the big Magnavox horn hooked to that set :)
