Subject: Vanagon Water Temp Gauge - Temperatures?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Years ago I owned a 1970 BMW 2002 TI (yes TI not tii) and was a member of BMWCCA. In their club magazine there was an article that listed the water temperatures at various points in the gauge - the center of the gauge, the small marks to either side of the center of the gauge. The Vanagon water temp gauge has similar marks on either side of the center, and got to thinking about what temperatures are represented by the center of the gauge as well as the little "dots" on either side of center.

Has anyone ever determined what the coolant temperatures are at those points of the gauge?

Thanks in advance
