A curiosity. When I arrived in Bend I removed all my stuff from our Ladybug trailer and noted that I had lost a skewer nut and spring from one of my spare bicycle wheel axles: it had vibrated loose. I looked everywhere for those parts but they had evaporated. I did, however, find an assortment of other odd bits on the bottom of the trailer that I swear weren't there before.

I didn't find any lost change.

PS -- Mellow Yellow did such a nice job getting me here that I rewarded that worthy vehicle by buying it a nice hand washing. I'll post a photo on my blog, "Jack and Mrs Elliott Move to Bend" (http://socal2bend.blogspot.com/) - there is Vanagon content there.
