Subject: Re: What's the strangest think you've found in a "new" Vanagon

This just came up on another VW list this week. In all my buses, 8 in all, I have found: $20.00 folded up and tucked under the bed-2 bowling balls and bowling shoes plus a radar detector-tons of spare parts, most new in the package-parts, new in box, to a Nikon camera. But best of all was my '77 Westy. When I called about it, I spoke to the owners wife. She told me her husband used it for fishing trips, and she hated the thing and never went with him on his 'trips". When I bought it and got it home, I found packs of contraceptive gel under the bed, and the glove box was filled with motel receipts. Fishing trips, huh? He was fishing alright, but not for bass! Jeff
