Reading the recent posts about headlight bucket hardware reminded me of this post on the samba that I used to change the stock square headlights- which we all know are expensive and marginal at best- to the square headlight that at one time was standard issue on almost  every car and truck, is cheap, easy to find, and available as replaceable-bulb version allowing  high wattage output. This maybe "old news" but I suspect many list members are not aware of this possibility.
