Allan, great question to bring up!

When I cleaned out my 84 Westy after the first camping trip I found lots of 16mm film that the PO, who was a nature film guy, must have left on the "mobile editing room floor". Very cool to find those little pieces of film. And then there were the usual pencils, pens, nuts, seeds, coffee spills, dried cereal, coins and lots of other misc. debris on either side of the bench seat in the place where small things sometimes go. You all know where I'm talking about, right? Took me a while to figure out how to clean those little nooks and crannies. I used a 2 foot piece of 5/8 or 3/4 inch plastic hose hooked to my shop vac.

My 90 Syncro Westy had more useful things left behind; a plastic pitcher, a steering wheel security lock, extra bits and pieces for the curtain slider parts that had been pulled off by a curious daughter, a plastic bag of replacement parts for the lots curtain bits, lots of dried coffee left behind from a major spill in the back seat (off road adventure first thing in the morning with the SO in back?) and several other things I don't recall just now.

Almost makes me want to buy a few more westies just to see what's hiding in there...

Cheers

Keith
