This year at Everybus I couldn't take it after one night sleeping up top. My daughter, who will most likely not be camping with me again, insists on getting the bottom bed. That top mattress is just too thin! I had a friend drive me to Wal Mart (uggh, but it was the nearest store) and I bought a 1.5 inch memory foam mattress topper for about $55.00. It's smooth on both sides, and has a zip off cover so it can be thrown in the wash. It fits the top bunk perfectly, but I'm sorry to say its too thick to be folded up and stored up there. jeff
