I received a call this morning that my dear friend and long-time Vanagon Syncro Westy owner, Pat Horrocks, had died Saturday, after battling Leukemia for the past few years. Those of you that knew Pat will remember her upbeat spirit and bright outlook on life, even when facing this horrible disease. She asked that there be no funeral, however a group of Pat's friends are planning a celebration of her life sometime during October, in VA/MD. If you knew Pat and would like to attend, please p-mail me and I will forward the information as it becomes available to me. She will be missed greatly in our lives. Please think (or pray, as you see fit) wonderful thoughts for Pat as her soul now enters it's new phase, free of pain and disease.
