I am reinstalling my fuel tank this weekend, and redoing all the fuel lines at that time. I'm not quite clear on how to best eliminate the plastic "firewall" fitting, is it better to just run a continuous piece of line through the firewall, or use something like a brass "coupler" (double-ended hose barb).
