There are (technically) 3 different sized rails. In a passenger Vanagon there are 2 different lengths, so as to make sliding in the middle seat a bit easier (get it started on one rail and then the 2nd rail is pretty straight forward. However, Westy rails are yet a different size again. (one size for both of them). This is because, a single seat would potentially only be on one of the rails (not a good thing).
