I know this is kind of beating a dead horse, but: I was in the engine bay today (a tight fit!) checking something else and I thought I'd wiggle my high pressure fuel line joints. (I changed the fuel lines, hose clamps, and firewall fitting a couple of years ago.) Three of the joints became wet with fuel when I wiggled them. Obviously the fuel line compressed over time and the (screw type) hose clamps were not able to do their job. A half turn with the screwdriver solved the problem. So: Even if you're feeling good about having newer fuel lines, give the fittings a little push now and again to see if the hose clamps need a bit of tightening.
