Teflon tape should only be used on fittings designed for the threads to make a seal. This is mostly tapered thread fittings such as used on pipe. The oil pressure switch adapter (bushing) is a fine thread that relies mostly on the copper washer for a seal. Here a quality thread sealant such as loct-tite thread and flange sealant (anaerobic) will seal this up for good. It will also prevent it form working out next time the pressure switch needs to be changed. Dennis
