Chris,
It's pouring down rain here (finally) so I'm going from memory a
couple of years , but I'm trying to determine if there was one length
of rail made for nonwesties and another length made for westies.
the ones I have came from a GL. I have a westy. If I were to install
my rails without trimming them, they would extend under the stove
cabinet an inch or so. Since I have never seen a factory installation
of these in a westy, I am not sure how it was done or it it makes any
difference.
Question: if you don't need to remove cabinets, and you are suggesting
the use of a radial arm saw, are you saying that the floor will come
out without removing cabinets?
When I got my westy in 2003, the floor was the only thing installed in
the rear cabin. the rest was in a heap and I had to figure it out. But
I've never had to consider removing the floor. If it comes out with
the stuff in place, then great, this is what I need to know before
getting started.
I was hoping to have a good excuse to pull the stove cabinet, as the
LP fridge setting won't stay lit underway and I need to check it out
anyway.
Thanks,
Jim
