Not mine, but only a few blocks from my house. I had a look at it tonight. Body has some seam rust but no holes. flange between the cat and muffler is leaking. Head gaskets are not leaking, oil drain plug has a makeshift plug. Rust on some coolant pipes and fuel injectors. Some electical issues with the instrumentation, but likelly jsut need a good cleaning of the contacts. it need a very good cleaning and some TLC. Definatelly worth restoring as the body is pretty sound. Drives OK, but I have not driven a synchro before so I realy do not know what to look for. http://fredericton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-RVs-trailers-1989-VW-Westfalia-Syncro-Westie-PopTop-W0QQAdIdZ66004622 I'm not on the list much latelly so p-mail me if you have any questions.
