Earlier than what, Mike?  My '84s and '85 don't have that problem
either.  They have the same insulation as you have.


When I shipped my '84 7 passenger from Hawaii to California, in '99, we
drove it across the desert to Dallas then on up to Maine and didn't
experience any hot foot behavior.
