The last sentence in Bentely (If this modification doesn't work very
well, ask the customer to open the heat air vents to mask the problem)
suggests to me it doesn't :)

Can anyone explain exactly what the air deflector modification does --
the cardboard baffles on my van are not in great shape, perhaps this
is part of my problem?

Even better -- a picture of a van with the modification in place would
be very helpful
