Hi Hugo,

I bought a 1977 Westy from a couple in Vancouver (Tobin & Crista) in
1999. I rented a car tow trailer, drove up from Seattle, bought it,
filled out some forms at the border, and brought it back with no
hassles at all.  I was even able to register it in WA easily. Now of
course, this was before the days of "homeland security", so I don't
know how things have changed.  Overall, it was not a difficulty.
You'll have to do your own research beforehand..,
