its been done many times before.. i have some grey or tan ones w/ floor tracks if anyones interested. easy way to make your westy into a 6 passenger.

all you do is drill up thru the dummy plastic bolts that fill the seat tracks holes under your van. then you take a radial arm saw and set it to the thickness of your plywood subfloor. then cut strips wide enough for the metal seat track rails to lay into. THERE IS NO CABINET REMOVAL NECESSARY!!!! all vanagons, weather theyre passenger vans, or panelvans, or westfalias, they ALL come with the welded on nuts under the floor for mounting the middle seat tracks.

the westys came with dummy plastic bolts to fill these holes. you can see them from under your van. drill up thru them and thats where your track will be..

its all about measuring.. but there is no cabinet removal necessary..
