trim down the rails.  they only need to be as long as the middle seat.  there
is no reason they need to extend under the kitchen unit.

set the radial arm saw to only cut thru the plywood floor, not into the metal
(obviously)
the plywood strips will just pop out. leave a 1/4 " gap on each side so the
seat can slide on.
the rails bolt to the floor with the regular 17mm seatbelt bolts
