Glad to read you, I ALWAYS asked myself why the metal accel pedals on Automatics...

Replacement pedals are identical, since ETKA doesn'T refer to a specific pedal for Auto trans????

Love to find thoses little "bizarre" details of Vanagons...

i put it in the category as to why do automatic vanagons come with metal reinforced accel pedals? or why did '89 carats not have the snap in curtain kit?
