Pete,

I couldn't agree more with your comments. We are all lucky to have the great vendors out there who support our Vanagon love and addiction.

I have yet to have a bad experience with anyone of them. Taylor at Go Westy has come through for me several times with parts that are not sold by any of the vendors but he was able to acquire from their shop - and at a fair price. Bus Depot has supplied me a ton of quality parts and seeming that my budget is usually a bit tight I appreciate their prices. Ken, at Vanagain, has supplied me some great parts at a good price and priceless advice on a few things. Van Cafe once sent me all the hardware for the exhaust on my '85 - it was stainless and each section was hand labeled and in a separate little baggie.

Because of these people we are all able to keep our buses going. I think it is a good idea to let them know they are appreciated.

A Go Westy in the Midwest would be great too - Mid Westy! The closest thing I have is The parts place in Auburn Hills, MI and I've heard some extremely mix reviews on them - leaning toward the negative.

Anyhow - thank you to all the fine vendors.

-- Thanks,
