Hi all.

Re: slow searches on Vanagon archives. I generally search subject line
only. It speeds up searches. Even when searching through a number of
years. Works well for common topics. Especially if you know what terms
to use. (see below)

A suggestion (one I *try* to follow --- ;^)

Make subject of email sent, clear.

I'll bet there's awesome info in threads with unclear or "clever"
subjects. (not knocking "clever")

Is there a Vanagon.com page with Vanagon/Westy terms (slang and
correct)? As a newb, I had to learn some of the terms used on this
list. I'm sure I'm not alone.

i.e. "Refer" = fridge. "LP" = liquid propane. etc.

Would upgrading the Vanagon server hardware really make searches faster?

I understand it may be a hassle to do, but count me in to donate a
little $ if this will help.

If it requires an "intervention", well, don't count me in!  --- ;^)
