Hi Troy,

I guess that doesn't sound too bad then. The transmission gasket is very straightforward. Be aware though that you have to drain all the fluid for both this job AND the removal of the transmission. It would be a pity to have to do it twice, especially with the cost of fluids these days.

Is the transmission gasket leaking? If not, let sleeping dogs lie. On the other hand, looking at the ATF filter inside the pan could be a good idea. Cleaning it would be an even better one.
