Yeah, I understand. I think it can be corrected, we didn't have enough rain to do much experimenting. I do think that the holes drilled in the aluminum blocks that hold the side poles could be angled more to the van.

Also, guying down the outboard edge of the awining when it is raining does reduce this problem a lot.

Small thing? In my view that's a deal breaker. I had a feeling that it might work that way, which is why I haven't bought one, even though Wolfgang lives just a few blocks away. Thanks for the report though.
