Well.... I just happen to have a Westy roof sitting on sawhorses. It's not gelcoat. It's paint. Proved by the overspray in places normally unseen. Treat it as you would any other oxidized PAINTED surface. If badly oxidized, a bit of Dupont Polishing Compound followed by a good paste wax.
