I have had mine now for 5 ~ 6 years and yes, EVERY time it rains and the slide door is open the inside of the door gets wet along with the panel that the folks a VW thought was a GOOD idea to make out of cardboard ! So, guess what, IT WARPS ! I've straitened it out a few times using Chris's directions BUT it just warps again. I been meaning to develop a flap to keep the water from coming in there but NO TIME ! Anyone else got some free time ? Us Shady Boy owners need a FLAP !
>>>>>>>"That means if the sliding door is open, water will wet the inside of said door." Small thing? In my view that's a deal breaker. I had a feeling that it might work that way, which is why I haven't bought one, even though Wolfgang lives just a few blocks away. Thanks for the report though.<<<<<<<
