There is plenty written up on this subject. Basically you need to start tracing the continuity of all the circuits starting with one door lock, drivers door is your best bet, mechanism and following through to the other doors. Could be a problem with the contacts inside the door lock actuator (often), wire connectors corroded (not so often) and of course broken wires (very often), most likely in the door jam boot, copper will be broken inside it's casing and will not be visible. Continuity tester, new wire, butt connectors and Dielectric grease will be your best weapons. Lately I have been removing and cutting that wire loom boot between the door and the body so I have just the two end grommets and a 1 ~ 2" piece of the boot left and after fixing the broken corroded wires I install the two grommet ends back where they came from a piece of split loom large enough to hold the wires loosely so the ends of the loom fit over the ends of the old boot ends. This way you can get in there easily to repair any future breaks in those wires. Broken wires could be for the power mirrors, power widows, radio and door locks if you have them. Check them all !! This has been an ongoing problem lately on a lot of vans that pass through here. AND - don't forget to put back the vapour barrier !! It's there for a reason !!!! House wrap tape works well for fixing it up after you tore it. I know you tore it, don't lie !!!!
>>>>>>>Hi, My doors will lock and unlock right away. I'm trying to find the diagram in ETKA but can't find it. Does anybody know where to find the parts lists for that system in ETKA?<<<<<<<<<<<<
