No, not me, my parents... They are looking seriously at a '97 CDN model EV Winnebago with the VR6. It has ~110k kms (~70k miles) and in good shape, except for: one O2 sensor may need replacement, and an emissions air pump and valve, which the dealer quoted $1300 to replace. It appears even at BD, the pump is >$400. Being a diesel person, I know nothing of this part, except it appears to be common to many of the '97+ gas engines, even the 2.0L. Is it worth trying a used one? I am going to see the van at the dealer lot on Friday, so any advice on what to look for is appreciated. I know little of the EVs aside from a bit of reading over the years. Asking price is $29k CDN, but there are so few on the market, it's hard to know if this is fair or not... Thanks.
