Gerry, The Vanagon and other VW list archives are full of examples of this guy ripping off many folks for large sums of money. Please do the research and draw your own conclusions. It appears he tends to walk a fairly tight line in his eBay dealings because of the feedback mechanism. However, eBay feeback will not show you what happens after the sale is completed. How his engines, transmissions etc perform after a few miles or months of usage. The archives have several examples of his engines failing often and early. One of which, was my own back in 2002 & 2003. And of his refusal to stand behind his warranty. The intent is to info ... proceed with caution.
