Except for the fact that we get up close and personal with some of the cars annually, it would all have faded from my mind too.

The Testa Rossas as driven by Hill & Gendebien were 3 litre 60 degree V12s. The 3 litre and 5 liter Ferrari 'boxer' motors are 180 degree V12s as the opposing rods share a common crank pin - that accounts for the great sound! :-)
