So I finally got around to replacing the last of the stock speakers on my Westy. Been meaning to do this, just didn't have the time.

I'm not trying to compete with the boom box rice runners, just trying to have decent sound. Well it turns out one of the reasons the rear speakers were so horrible is that one of them had a completely torn diaphragm.

So now I have MB Quarts all around (PCE210's in the front , QSD210's in the rear). I didn't bother to install the cross over boxes (or tweeters) as, really, the Vanagon is just not a super high end listening environment, especially going down the road. For high end listening, I have my B&W speakers 802's at home.

I chose MB Quarts for a number of reason. One I remembered them as being decent speakers, and Two, they can be flush mounted in the stock door location.
