You also have to be aware if you have power or manual windows. Manual windows offer even less clearance.

I mounted Polk 5 1/4" coax speakers in the stock location and they just fit and clear the dash. I cut the vapor barrier, but used aftermarket XTC foam speaker baffles. I was able to cut the overhead A/C Westy box and put 6 1/2" speakers in the back.
