I recently found a Westy in the U-Pull-It south of Chicago: WV2ZA0252BH086317 Apparently an '81. Someone had removed the kitchen equipment and installed a full-width bed. It had a few other interesting modifications, like a carburettor. Lying in the van I found a catalog and invoice from GEX for a rebuilt 2.0 VW engine. With the core charge and freight it came to just over $1900. The invoice date was 3/12/04. Draw your own conclusions.

Larry A.
