I am so 'pre-bored' with that 'me too' Mini-van copy ............ a pure 'so what' car to me. Make a sporty not-quite truck Van, with good ground clearance............and a bit of funk, like some of the boxy cars like Scion, or say the Honda Element...........and I'm there.

but another Honda Odessa, and made in Tennessee ? Unless the price and content are really attractive ...........like outstandingly so.........why would anyone want one ? it's just another soccer mom family van. So what. VW 'could' be smart enough to offer nice attractive spunky/funky products. Scion does, Honda Does.......... btw, in the recent collapse of Truck and Suv sales.........Honda stands out as making primarily fuel efficient cars and specializing in those. Sure there is the Ridge something ..........that big thing , don't think they sold many of those............but Honda is looking real good right now with the product line they have stayed with. I think the Element is pretty neat too.........a strong sense of utility and 'up right-ness' .............. something the Vanagon has in spades. VW does well world-wide, but I think their US sales are pretty low. You sure don't see many Touregs........and they must've invested a bundle developing that. I haven't seen one of those in months. I don't even know if they offer one this year. anyway...........VW................another low min-van...........yawn. Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter T.
