Excellent observation.

As near as we (those of us that have done business with him) can figure out ... he walks the eBay tightrope pretty well.

Very leery of negative feedback.

Generally it's his "shop" customers that he rakes over the coals.

Archives are full of horrendous examples.

The intent here is to inform, proceed as you see fit.
