Are we talking about the actual lid here?


I have an '81 Westy. There is a metal plate on the underside of the
stove lid, and a grill for cooking, but that's about it.


Am I missing a part?


I don't want to feel left out. --- ;^)


That adapter is also known as the "Silver Socket" in case you search
it in the archives.
