Subject: Happy Friday - Couple of Questions (87 syncro)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

(1) There is a delay when I turn on my headlights - my parking lights come on immediately, but then there is a few seconds before the headlights come on. Is my switch going bad or is it something else?

(2) I just got the top end (heads) at Stephan's Autohaus in Sacramento (thank you Stephan) but I notice when I first start the van it seems it has to warm up, otherwise when I take off down the street it is "missing" a bit. Not really stumbling, but like it's not getting gas yet or something. Any ideas? I don't work in Sacramento anymore, so taking it back to Stephan is kind of a major undertaking, so I was wondering what I could check and perhaps avoid going back to the shop altogether. Otherwise it runs fine, although my gas mileage is worse than usual.

Thanks and Happy Friday from beautiful San Francisco (it really has been hot here the last few days)

-- Donna
