Howdy groups! Been a long time!

Moved to Vegas just over a year and a half ago with my '05 Pontiac Vibe and '90 GL Weekender, Blackbeard (currently in the shop for the 3rd installment of 5 pretty major repair jobs-axles are next, followed by a new AC unit).

Recently my ad agency, Robertson|Wood, won the Las Vegas McDonald's business and just wrapped production on a brand new campaign specific to Vegas.

I missed it the first time I saw the finished TV commercial, until my Creative Director asked me if I recognized Blackbeard going through the drive-thru. Sure enough! There's a cartoony drawing of him rollin' through the drive-thru with 4 passengers in the back (2 on the mid bench and 2 on the rear)!

The Las Vegas Sun published a story about the campaign and my agency, and there's even a picture of my van in the story, which you can see at the following link: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/sep/03/arts-district-has-starring-role-mcdonalds-commerci/

Check out the TV spot on our microsite at: http://www.valueeveryday.com/ Click "Watch TV" at the bottom.

Pretty cool stuff! Always glad to see our beloved loafs in the media, cartoon or not! :o)

-Drew '90 GL "Blackbeard"
