Chris,

I posted this for Andrew without actually reading it. All out Vanagons are T3's. Just like the US, the UK got a special name for their T3's they call them T25's.

A Baywinow bus is actually a T2.

1954-1967 Type II T1 1968-1979 Type II T2 1980-1992 Type II T3 1993-2003 Type III T4 2003-present Type II T5

Actually the T4 was out in Europe a couple of years or so earlier. We call them Eurovan. We never got the T5's. After European production of the T3 stopped, the tooling was moved to South Africa where they continued making the T3 as late as 2002. Although they were called Caravelle and Microbus over there, they are still all T3's.

The "Bug Fest" Andrew referred to might be "Van Fest" which is a hugely popular VW van event in the UK. The chopped and lowered T25 can technically be referred to as a Vanagon or T3 but since the it was made out of the remains of an English version, it was a heavily modified "T25".
