You can easily hot wire around that part of the switch by using empty relay socket #2 of the main fuse/relay panel. Two of the empty leg holes can be connected together with a piece of wire and this will do the same as turning on the key. Put male spade connectors on the ends of the wire and plug them into holes 2 and 4 of relay socket #2. If it was me I would buy an inline fuse holder with wires built in, about $3 at a FLAPS or Walmort, for ATC fuse. Then use a 20-30 amp fuse in it, add male spade ends, good to go. This way you can leave the fuse out while you plug the ends into the relay socket. Then put fuse in when you want the vehicle on, pull fuse out to turn off. The relay socket has a center number labeling it and very small numbers for each leg hole.
