What I used when I lower mine by myself was a 33-gallon plastic trash can (sorry, can't recall the height), but it will lower about six to eight inches, give or take. What limits the travel are the hoses coming in from the left. Since yours is a camper, the cabinet might be the limiting factor. Hope this helps, and good luck.
