Nice run down Pete. It was a great time as usual. A bit emotional with Kim in attendance and Kenny and Sue leaving us for AZ. It was great to finally meet Craig (sorry we didn't get a chance to talk more) and your not kidding about Andy's accordion skills - he's great and was very entertaining. The rain tried to put a damper on things but was unsuccessful. You can't keep us bus volk from enjoying our campout! Sure we will all be drying out and cleaning mud out of our buses but who cares? Patty and I decided to help Brien and Kirt in collecting up the picnic tables for the campground. Had to get them to high ground before the flood. We were glad to help but I tweaked my back at the end and although I'll be fine it made the drive home a bit uncomfortable.
Patty, Jack, and I took the two lane home so it took us a while. At the end I jumped on 69 for a stretch. Grover did something strange on the expressway - I can't quite explain it but I was forced to pull over. It was running but I wasn't getting any response from the accelerator and then it just stalled out. I turned the key off and it started right back up and we didn't have any other problems at all - strange. I guess the bus was tired of being wet too. Ok, time to go empty out the bus. Had a great time - it was nice to see everyone again.
