They're pushrod covers or valve covers, to me, because the engine tin is that stuff that more or less seals the engine compartment from the road. As far as I know, the valve covers will fit about every VW boxer engine ever made, and so will the metal bails that snap them in place. I have not actually tried this, but when a machine shop lost mine, I went by my VW shop and was told "they're all the same."
