Yup! Just be sure and change the filter at the same time. And you should be aware that on an older engine where the seals have some age on them the synthetics may or may not make them weep or even leak a bit. I run Mobil One 15W50 sybthetic. have now for several years. Works great and tends to keep my Vanagon Lifter Syndrome at bay better than others. BTW, the Mahle filters seem to work best for these machines.
