My WBX bit the dust back in 1998, so my recollection of HP output is foggy. Somehow I was thinking they made 105 hp. Must have been thinking of the inline VW swaps people are doing.
My most sincere apologies.

Geez Dooley, its from 1983! My 1.9 is rated at 82 HP.... What is yours putting out? 2008/9/8 pdooley <psdooley@verizon.net> That setup is not really high tech. A blow through carb and no intercooler won't get you a big HP boost. The "forged" components are a necessity considering the archaic engine management system, even at the low power increase. These days HP bumps for well built turbo street cars can exceed 100% over normally aspirated. On the other hand, 140hp is a good number for a WBX engine. I wouldn't want to push much past that.

Anyone seen the above? It allegedly produces 105Kw, or 140hp, has "cosworth
drop-forged pistons" and "dual oil pumps". Hmmmm... 50% bump for turbos is
fairly standard, no?
