Well the new stainless allens helped but putting it together was much much easier than taking it apart. At least I wont have a hodgepodge of stripped parts whenever I have to replace it again. I even filed the pulley smooth to get rid of all the 'teeth" marks from the previous clamps. Maybe the belts will last longer now. Thanks again everyone.

I do have one question if you will. The alternator bracket/bar seems to be much to weak for the job. It is mildly twisted whenever the belt is tightened the belt rides slightly at an angle. I know this will kill the bearing in the altenator and I am sure that it will not do the belt any good either. Is there a heavier duty bracket that can be used/adapted. I am considering going to the local junkyard and putting together two brackets that will work and having them welded together. I figure that will help eliminate the "torque bend" of the bracket. Anyone have any ideas on this?
